Just found out my flight on 5th Nov to SIN is being swapped out to the really old B/E minipod from QSuite, bummer since it's the first QR flight for me in almost 3 years. (I know I know this is totally a first world problem)
I've never been in one of these seats before, would really appreciate some advice:

1) Are there any seats to avoid/particularly good? It's the 42J config version
2) How likely would it be swap back to QSuite or reverse herringbone equipped plane?
3) I have BAEC gold, will QR block out the seat next to me? or is that just for privilege club members?
