Is anyone able to describe (again) the pros and cons of Row 1, specifically 1D & F? I'm attracted by the larger footwell, and don't mind the lack of center overhead bins. But trying to figure out privacy and whether proximity to the lav is bothersome. I'm gravitating to the forward cabin in lieu of Row 9 because I am concerned about meal choices -- but is that a thing of the past due to pre-orders? (This is IAH-SYD and currently the seating is wide open on my flight).. Many thanks in advance for your assistance!
