Other things to do: on a nice day I'd go to the Olympiapark and check out the view from the top of the hill. Also the Hofbräuhaus is a tourist must (even if you don't want to stop for a drink, you can just wander in and out).

Depending on when you're visiting in February, there may be Fasching (Mardi Gras) celebrations on. Doughnuts are the festive food of choice throughout Jan/Feb - some have fillings based on local desserts which are a bit different. Rischart does some amazing ones.

If you fancy a daytrip, you can get to a lake with a mountain view in an hour on the train. There is supposed to be a €49 monthly ticket for all local/regional transport by Jan, which might be worth it if you're travelling outside the city. Tegernsee is my personal favourite, but at Chiemsee you can take a ferry between islands and visit the palace. Ammersee and Starnberger See are just at the end of the S-Bahn.
