Concierge lounge was nice - only went for breakfast, but there was a nice spread of food. Staff in the lounge was very friendly. Lounge was spacious with plenty of seating.

I stay at the Renaissance Indianapolis North (which is in Carmel and not Indy) a couple of times a year to visit family. Posted a full review back in 2015 which is up-thread. Still like the hotel overall and I generally alternate between the Ren and the Marriott at Keystone Crossing on 86th Street. I wanted to note that the Renaissance closed the Concierge Lounge on the top floor and turned the space into two guest rooms. To replace it they converted a meeting room that was on the ground floor into a lounge. For some reason they built it with an automatic glass door that slides open every time someone walks past it which is both noisy and allows anybody in the busy hallway outside to walk in.
it's actually a nice space, big windows, very contemporary with a mix of dining tables, bar-height seats and a few comfy chairs. However, at least in post-Covid 2021 and 2022 the service (or lack of service) is not OK. There is no food spread in the evening - a sad dish of nuts and one of candy, along with the bowl of fruit that has been there so long I'm not going to risk it. In the mornings there's some sealed plastic bowls of breakfast cereal, sealed bowls of oatmeal, yogurts, and the coffee machine that's there 24 hours. There is a refrigerator full of water bottles you can take when the lounge is open, but it's locked except for the "breakfast" and evening hours. No attendant that i've ever seen, and in the evenings not even circulating servers from the lobby bar to take any drink orders.
All other aspects of the hotel are solid but they definitely dumbed down the Concierge lounge to where it doesn't qualify as an amenity any more.
