If you decide to take the Piccadilly, and want to avoid the level change at Gloucester Road from Piccadilly to street level, there’s always the option of getting off two stops earlier at Baron’s Court - this is a simple cross-platform stop to the District line. Obviously worth checking that a district train is heading in the right direction within a reasonable time!
