Transcon flight last night, the woman seated in the pod next to mine picked a serious argument with the SD for having incorrectly recorded her meal choice.

SD handled it like a pro: "Actually, ma'am, we're well-catered tonight, I can bring you whichever dish you'd like". I guess the confrontation was her goal, because this only got her more whipped up. How dare they, what kind of service was this, I want names, etc.

Finally, the gentleman sitting next to her lost his temper and yelled "I CLEARLY HEARD YOU ORDER THE DAMN CHICKEN".

Later in the flight, same drama as they hadn't offered her midflight snacks simply because she was asleep. How dare they, etc - this time with tears.

I ended up writing in to AC just to defend the crew, in case she tries to get people in trouble.

Best bit was when she let her dog out of its carrier so it could walk around.
