We're flying 4Y in Y in 7 days time and the load factor along with the fact there appear to be no tickets left online, either direct or OTA, make me think this flight is sold out.

Since LH oversell, I assume 4Y do too. There is a later flight on ET that we would happily switch too (it gets in at a much more reasonable hour too) and pocket the 600 each. What's the best way to get us to the front of the volunteer list?

There is just 1 remaining bookable seat left in J. But I have no LH status, so can't see us getting an upgrade however nicely I ask?

I know most of the time airlines get overselling exactly right, so chances are we'll be on the original itinerary, but still would like to be prepared. Thanks!
