As a recent user of the Elizabeth line I think I would be tempted by that and get a cab of some flavour to Gloucester Road. There seems to be stacks of space for luggage and I have always been able to find a seat. I would not use the Piccadily line with luggage. Maybe a backpack but that's about it. In rush hour, just forget about it.
