Meanwhile I am here at the hotel, which is packed full, enjoying an upgrade to a very nicely renovated junior suite.
Earlier I was at a Marriott Luxury Collection property here in Paris, which was also full. But even as a Marriott Lifetime Titanium member there was no upgrade for me. It is just not the Marriott way.
I guess this is just the way how this property works, since the concierge at IC Park Lane in London and IC Porto both responded within hours via email. And really, what's the point having an email address if they can't bother to respond to requests? It guess it is just not the InterContinental way.
