I've found this hotel to generally be pretty quiet, at least by midtown standards. All the rooms are well above street level so that helps - I believe the lobby is the 6th floor and rooms go up from there. And it is not a super-noisy part of town; much quieter than anything near Times Square. It's a newer hotel so soundproofing seems to be ok.
