Come to think of the QR code has not once been used but the screen shot with the QR code that the county or state sent me just looks so much more official than the original vaccine card.
Is there anything else I should be worried about to enter Japan? From what I can the Visas are no longer needed.

You should be fine. Just make sure that you have your triple vax certificate (CDC card, etc) in case they ask. It doesn't actually need a QR code. It was much more strict back in May compared to now. That was the last time I left Japan for overseas and had to return. They released all restrictions for most countries Oct 11th. Like others said above, download MySoS and the entire process there gets approved within 24 hours of departure. I had no problems getting all that stuff to green once I uploaded everything from Europe.
