Similar problems can be expected with agents on redeeming NZ, LH, CA, ZH and anything not included in the CX search engine and had to be called in.
Now that I'm rewriting the whole thing, what I'm disappointed with [Agent] is the agent clunked the general T&C URL as justification, but did not bother to read it. Obviously, given the time gaps between responses, she did attempt to contact her supervisors, but either failed to contact them or those supervisors of these Whatsapp agents knew no better.
Postscript 20 Oct: They sent me a survey in the Whatsapp chat. Fortunately I wrote up my experience here so I don't have to rewrite what [Agent] got wrong and the lack of support for what [Agent] did - I just linked to the above post.
