OP, just buy the cheapest one way ticket on DL from TPA, then use your AMEX to get into Skyclub. Cancel ticket before getting on VS flight (do they still have time limits at SC? If so, factor that into your DL purchase departure time). Doing this once probably won't get you in trouble with DL
