I am trying to book a first class award from Italy to Chicago on British Airways (BLQ -> LHR -> ORD)

When I check British or Cathay websites, I can see availability, with the BLQ -> LHR leg in business, and the LHR -> ORD in first. On Alaska's website, though, it doesn't show availability for the routing at all. If I just search the LHR -> ORD leg I see first availability on Alaska's website, and they also show the entire BLQ -> LHR -> ORD routing available in business class, but not the business/first class combination I'm looking for. Is this a quirk of the website that I can get sorted out by calling in, or is this a limitation of Alaska miles? Thanks for the help!
