The part I'm trying to understand is how the miles, not FlyOn points are calculated. I understand the FlyOn points are similar to United PQP and used for elite status earnings, but non-redeemable, but I understood my regular miles available for award tickets earn 125% of the distance in "I" class, but I'm confused about the "bonus miles" column in the image below. Are bonus miles earned by status, and only for Sapphire and above which is why they only credited to the final segment? Shouldn't the bonus miles include the extra 25% distance credit for "I" class?
