That's exactly my arrival date. I think my semi-flex rate was $720 ish, saw price line in the mid $600's so tried to claim - failed. Retried with screenshot. The exact fail letter quoted up thread I would receive. I the meantime I note the price on the app dropped to $633 so I booked again thinking I could just click on the other booking and cancel. To be fair, it was cancelled without issue but did need a phone call.

On more expensive properties like this where I am booking a way out, I typically choose semi-flex with the strategy or cancelling and rebooking when the price changes. Id only book a non refundable upfront paid rate if it's within 7-10 day.

Point of note, on the 2 days prior (4-6th) I'm booked in at The Vista in Tel Aviv, also on a semi-flex. I don't need to change that as the rate I got currently beats the advertised rate, but that's also changed to can't be cancelled in the app.
