As I've said upthread, if Marriott want to screw me out of LT Plat by not following their own T&Cs, then good riddance... In any event, it should be a solid data point (assuming that Marriott don't do another surprise status extension)
I await your data point with anticipation. I understand your reading of the T&C and when you return with hard data as proof then I will not advocate de-risking this situation by staying the 50 nights in the 10th year and instead refer to your hard data point in future. Indeed, we're in the same situation (>600 nights and 9 years of Lifetime Platinum on the count right now). I have > 50 nights this year. You won't. Assuming both of us get Lifetime Platinum around February 2023 we can high five each other. The waiting is agony.
