I wound up doing points+cash ($250+7500 points) per night for a Regency Executive Suite and then another twin room for 9750 points per night (instead of $225 per night cash). There are some much larger suites available but not for upgrades, hoping one of those is available when we arrive and that they will play lets make a deal.
I've seen this in the last week. I think it's a Hyatt not a hotel level issue.
Magma Santorini and Andaz WeHo were quoting the cash cost for a suite plus points as well.
