Just going to add that if you have a baby or toddler, either Japanese carrier will be WAYYYYYY better than any US carrier. Besides the extra space and cleanliness, the cabin crews actually like children (or at least pretend to like them), they give out free toys, and in Tokyo they even have special check-in areas for passengers with small children. I had a 1 year old who went into a tantrum in the middle of a TPAC and the ANA FA came over five seconds later with a rattle that she had made by dropping candy in a coffee cup with a lid. Baby shut up immediately. It is really like night and day.
