I've booked multiple QF tickets in the past and used bid upgrade from Premium to Business (U) and always received the tier points and avios for Business. No recent (post covid) examples to share. Never had to chase or follow up as these always posted automatically. In the case of UL and MH bid upgrades aren't eligible however QF has never been covered by the same restrictions as far as I'm aware.
