I qualified for PP from a promotion, extended through covid, and have never been able to select any choice rewards. However, for the first time, I qualified for PP for real (likely EXP too) and am a couple segments away from hitting the 30 mark. Agreed, especially if you are mostly buying premium cabin and have constraints on your schedule/time. I booked a SWU flight next year using my July-expiring cert but the dates kinda suck. It's getting to the point where I'm considering just cancelling the flight as I would value better dates over the $2k value or whatever. Of course, other people in other circumstances may disagree.
