I'm not sure where that came from - I confirmed that she understood that this isn't an elite upgrade. Anyway, called back later and got taken care of, very nice agent was able to open up 4 C on my connecting domestic flight as well.

Woah, I didn't know they could open up availability? I've got the same flight in 02/2023. Did you just ask nicely? Or they did it by themselves?
