I'm at IC Budapest now. The location is beyond fantastic, the view from my room knocks my socks off. Tram #2 is right outside the front door (tram #2 goes along the Danube, the cheapest sightseeing tour you can imagine). I'd never stay anywhere else. Bfast is the usual European buffet spread - breads, pastries, fruits, eggs, meats, juices, omelette station, cheese, etc.
I can't believe people are yakking about it being old. This is Budapest - you're in a historic city, for gosh sakes! This is not a city where you'll find W hotels (thank god). The IC is everything you need it to be.
