The Four Seasons Hotel George V and The Prince de Galles are two separate hotels, managed by two different companies, and are located next to eachother on Avenue George V. However, this is where the similarities end -- the Four Seasons George V is light years better than its neighbour in terms of service, comfort, amenities, and prices. It is, usually, difficult to get a room at the George V for under 600 Euro a night -- though there are/have been exceptions.
If you do a search of the Four Seasons George V in this, and the Paris, fora you will find much has been written about this property. I am unabashedly a huge fan of this property and Institutional Investor ranked it the world's top hotel in their annual survey.
The Prince de Galles is supposedly a decent hotel though most seem to agree that it is not a luxury hotel. This hotel has been discussed in the Starwood forum and a search there should give you many results. The latest thread on this hotel is the ridiculous high speed internet access fees, a whopping 50 Euro for 24 hours access.
I hope you enjoy your trip to Paris. Cheers,
