Ah yes, I guess I could have explained that better. My itinerary was a little complicated. I had to go from A to B, then B to Zagreb, then Zagreb back to A. I already had B-ZAG booked outside of Emirates.
If I had booked everything else on Emirates, it would have been a multi-city RT - A to B (via DXB), then ZAG to A (via DXB). The return leg, on Emirates, was showing a flight operated by Flydubai from ZAG to DXB, and Emirates from DXB to A.
Instead, I booked the flydubai ticket separately, and everything else as a multi-city RT on EK (A-B via DXB, and then DXB back to A). This was cheaper.
