WestJet launched a 15% off sale today, and in typical fashion AC scrambled to match them, like they always do to one another when the other announces a flash sale. I think they're just rolling out the website banner for it now, the sale runs today and tomorrow.

In my experiences with these flash sales, Google Flights will already absorb the promo code and reflect the sale pricing. You probably caught this on a Google Flights search before the sale was formally advertised on AC.com
Ah, very interesting. That all makes sense - I'm not getting exactly the same price (with the code I get $538 now) but it's very close and if you've seen that before it's the likely explanation - thanks.
I don't suppose there's any way to get them to retroactively apply the code for me (without cancelling and rebooking, in which case I assume the change fees will eat up all of the savings), is there?
