Delta has a ton of large outstations with nice SkyClubs in competitor hubs (SFO, PHX, AUS, etc). Why would ORD be any different
The question, as you touched on, is whether DL will attempt to grow at ORD to their so-called focus cities. They populate their ATL, MSP, DTW, and LGA flights quite well so it's some of their important but non-hub cities that could provide those additonal opportunities.
