I need to book a resort stay at the end of July/early August. We'll be in LA to getting to SKB is bit of a trek via MIA.

How bad is the rain at this time of year? The hotel looks stunning and would book the Bi Level stay but if it's going to rain and affect our time in the sun, I would look for a different location.
