AS is a slightly larger operation in PHX than one gate in T4 can handle. T4 is CrAApy and not worth the time to visit the even crAApier ACs there.
For context, AS is currently operating 7× daily flights to SEA, down from a pre-pandemic high of 13. They also serve non-stop service to SFO, BOI, PAE, PDX & ANC.
PHX T3 is a beautiful facility and AS is lucky to be there. PHX may be a good location for consideration of AS's first "land-locked" AL. I rarely use my AC membership in PHX.

I could not agree with you more.
As a weekly flyer in/out of PHX, I actively book away from T4. AS's use of T3 makes it much more attractive, particularly now that my AS membership gets me into the UC, which is certainly nicer than any of the PHX ACs.
