I don’t think it’s confirmed so much as a YMMV situation.

I was initially refused access as P1 with 1 adult guest and my two kids under 18.
We were flying AA on QF codeshare flight number.

Agent not at all interested in QF flight number. Told me that AA only pays for one guest and I needed to decide which of the family I would guest.

I got to the bottom of the escalator and was about to call the P1 team when someone came down after me and relented and showed us all to a reserved table.
