So Bonvoy mailed me a candle as a thank you for my loyalty. It came with this card:


The candle was packaged nicely, a black box inside of a black box with black shredded paper for protection. The candle is in a black holder with the Edition logo, which seems to be ceramic. This is a nice gesture, but I'd prefer to have a better overall Ambassador program than surprise gifts. The fragrance isn't one I would've chosen, but it smells decent, and I will use it. I do remember updating my preferences because I was in my profile to make some type of change and thought I might as well tic the boxes for my interests. I suppose this helps them tailor marketing emails. Others might want to test tout updating their preferences to see if they get any gifts.
