It appears that the Marriott International attorneys who write bonvOY T&Cs do not understand what occurs at Front Desks and restaurants across the network. Invariably, at former SPG properties where "breakfast in restaurant" is a welcome gift option, the FD hands the guest pre-printed bonvOY coupons with the words Continental Breakfast across the top and that hotel's MARSHA/FOSSE code along the bottom. They appear to be the same coupons handed out at former MR properties for use when lounges are closed.
