On the newest TD Visa Infinite Privilege card offer - the "Anniversary Offer", do we think this would still be processed should one cancel the card shortly thereafter of the anniversary date? I view this statement to prevent churning for the bonus. That being said on the amex side, the cadence of the annual fee means that one could have the card open for 13 months without paying the second annual fee.
"To receive the 55,000 Aeroplan points Anniversary bonus ("Anniversary Bonus") your Account must have been opened and active for 12 months and you must make $12,000 in net Purchases (less any returns and credits) on your Account, including your first Purchase within 365 days of Account opening. If you have opened an Account in the last 12 months, you will not be eligible for this offer"
