Can I use the connections/transfer desk at Terminal 3, or do I need to go through immigration and come back through security etc?

Hey I only did this once & although it doesn't answer your question about clearing immigration or if you can use transfer desk but I did:

KHI-DXB then DXB-MAN & the Emirates desk in KHI checked me in through to Manchester.
It is worth a shot.
