Would you sit two seats away from your spouse if the middle seat was empty?
Recently I was on a very quiet flight where about 60 percent of the seats were empty. Many of the empty seats were middle seats.
Even though many rows had an empty middle seat I saw many couples still sitting together with one sitting at the aisle or window and the other sitting in the middle seat.
My wife moved to the aisle seat and I moved to the window so we could have more space. Some friends who were traveling with us asked us if we were angry at each other because we had moved apart. I told them I appreciated the space. They repeated that there must be some troubles between my wife and me.
So, if you are traveling with your significant other if the middle seat is empty would you move to the aisle or window and leave space between the two of you?
