I also wanted to report an observation from the "Upgrade availability" view. It can show availability on connecting tickets, like this:



Checking the same availability segment for segment indicates to me this could be the "un-married" availability. I haven't cliked through on a flight with seats shown on both flights, but if this is un-married availability that can't be used for connecting tickets, then people are in for a treat using this search..
