I do hope they start to find a better seating concept/flow/service delivery that works better than what it is today - I've sat in hospital waiting rooms more luxurious than Galleries North. Last time there an old dear next to us somehow managed to cut her foot open on a broken glass and bled all over the floor, which really drove home that point. Id be curious how, over the course of all these tier point and retention schemes going on, the levels of silver/gold card holders have changed, or if they really are booking more folks into CE/CW. Why is it (still) this chaotic when the number of flights have been cut? its not like you get access with a credit card here.

I would expect someone is crunching the numbers and considering a future design based on post-pandemic travel patterns, but with BA I somehow doubt it. Actually, if you take a step back, I think the lounge probably fits the service you are receiving onboard just fine. If they are going to refurb anything, take those damn perspex magazine boxes/shelves out of the space - it just looks bad and if you cant sell the ad space then find a better revenue source!

We are through LHR a few times next couple of weeks, will try the T5B even though we are traveling short-haul. Just for research (sanity?) sake. I wouldnt mind a little extra walk - it feels so jammed up to go boarding to security to lounge in the space of what feels like 10 feet.
