If you have a valid citizenship I’ll never understand why you don’t get GE. A lot/most posters seem to refer to Business or First, which makes the 5 year cost of GE an irrelevance. The only downside is having to arrange an interview, which can be problematic. I was fortunate enough to do mine when Grosvenor Sq. was an option. When renewal came I did it before the old GE expired and was approved without need a further interview. As a result of GE I’ve had clearances where I’ve been through in seconds. The new machines recognise you, spit the voucher out and assuming there is no queue to present it to the Border Officer you’re gone.

I can’t speak for T7 as in last year or so have used AA to get food and service, (pulls pin and retreats).
