I'd arrive at least 90 minutes before your flight if you want some lounge time.
It's a pedantic correction, but you keep referring to customs when you mean security or immigration / passport control. Both are generally pretty quick at ZRH.
The only sensible time to visit E lounges would be on arrival from the US. Otherwise you'd add another Schengen exit and entry to get out there and back before your flight to Germany.
