Just flew LAX-FRA on the 747-8 and it was probably the worst Premium Economy experience I've had from any airline. Seat was rock hard, leg rest in the first row was a joke. No amenity kit. Seated behind regular economy. Meals no better than economy. No liquor (only beer/wine). Pathetic.
PE on the 747-8 is behind business and PE generally has its own menu so your story doesn’t quite add up. Were you in PE or maybe just a paid for (bulkhead?) economy seat?
