Found a couple of minor reviews mixed in with some other general ORD hotel threads, but no thread dedicated to this one, so I'm starting this here.

Recently stayed 2 nights here. Had read reviews of the hotel that were not so flattering. Apparently it was pretty run down as an old Embassy Suites hotel that had been converted to a Sheraton Suites.

The hotel (like the 4 Points ORD) is in the process of a major renovation. It looked like the lobby area was complete and was very nice. Check-in was friendly and efficient. Was automatically upgraded to one of the top floor Suites. Given complimentary Platinum full breakfast buffet coupons, which is a nice extra this hotel does.

Almost everything in the room was new and very nice. New furnishings, wallcoverings, carpet, etc. Had the Sweet Sleeper beds. They only thing that hadn't been refurbished yet were the wet bar and bathroom countertops, which the front desk mentioned were going to be replace soon too. Here's some photos:

While we were there they were in the process of refurbishing the rooms on the 8th floor, so I think they are working their way down.

Wi-Fi for $9.95 per day was available in the guestrooms and other public spaces. Several restaurants in the nearby office complex. Hertz is practically across the street.

Very nice stay in very nice rooms, IMHO.
