Lufthansa ~ Flight Cancellation and Lost Baggage Compensation - What Went Wrong?
Hello. I need some guidance. I am a US citizen and had our flight canceled in Europe including delayed and lost baggage. We filed a claim and had what I thought was a good and timely response from them. In our latest communications, they would not tell me what they were going to compensate us and said we were absent on our bank details. I provided the banking details a second time and included a bank link with the details and asked what am I missing specifically. Their response was they are closing the case over my refusal to provide them with my banking information. Agents at the local toll-free number will not talk to me since my flight out of Frankfurt was the one canceled. I could be wrong, but feel this is an attempt to avoid paying the compensation. Any suggestions on how to proceed?
