Our family has a similar issue to yours. We actually have more than 6 kids. We lived abroad for several years, so we traveled more often than a family our size normally would. I had the CSR which allows 2 free guests. My wife got the Citi Prestige, which allows unlimited guests if they're family. This worked fine for our family. We would consider switching her to the Venture X if the unlimited guest rule is valid.
The VX allows 4 free AUs who get their own free Priority pass membership. If you add some of your kids as AUs you can get more guests.
