You actually don't have to fly on your birthday! It tells me I have to book by the end of October but travel by end of November. It looks like just the departure needs to be end of November because I selected return in January and it was fine. It also waives the economy plus fees both ways which is pretty cool. Haven't booked it all the way through but that was what showed up on final check out screen before confirming.
