Anyone has experience with additional benefits like free drink chits, or breakfast at any of the hotels above? Can’t decide between them. I guess if I get 2 drinks per night that hotel will win my business.
Gold status is not going to earn you anything additional beyond what Marriott publish (so no lounge access or free breakfasts). I would choose based on location... so Courtyard is right next to a shopping center and Novena MRT station. Westin is in business district and other than a few restaurants within easy walk, has limited shopping nearby. But does have easy access to Marina Bay and Downtown MRT stations... and, if open by the time you visit, sits right on top of the Shenton Way MRT station (opening date is announced as late 2022) so is actually very easy to get almost anywhere in Singapore from. Vagabond and Four Points are not as well located.
Edited to note that I just googled and the Thomson East Coast MRT line stage 3 will open on November 13th 2022. This is huge benefit for the Westin as it sits right on top of the Shenton Way MRT station which will easily connect you to Orchard Road and interchanges with many other MRT lines.
