I had an agent a few months ago try to book the space point to point (they are used to doing it this way for DL flights for GUCs). Said there was no availability. I politely asked if they were selling it via married sell command like AF requires? She said she would "try" that (I think she knew her mistake). A minute later, she confirmed she did have the space confirmed. Generally, if you get the JV AF/KL support desk, you are fine, but sometimes you still have to hold their hand.
