My third stay here, first as a Globalist, and wow am I left disappointed
Check In: I went to the elite line and found a really bored and unhelpful agent. No Globalist recognition, no upgrade, no waters (none in the room either), no offer of a late checkout. I had to ask details about breakfast
Room: My first time in a standard room. Even as an Explorist I'd gotten a corner king. The room itself was fairly nice though it wasn't property stocked. As I said no waters but also no hand or face towels. The bathroom was tiny as well though at least Wifi worked well and there were no soundproofing issues
Breakfast: Very good. Globalists get a buffet at Cinnabar on the second floor. It had an omelet bar, hot options were scrambled eggs, sausage, chicken sausage, potatoes and small fritatas plus a good cold spread with smoked salmon and high quality fruit
Check Out: I'd tipped $6 at breakfast. The front desk agent said that was my balance. I said Globalist breakfast plus gratuity was covered and she claimed it wasn't. My folio still has the $6 charge on it. Hardly worth dealing with but it's still the principle of it.
I'm hoping they send me a survey so I can make these points to them.
