Just as a follow-up to this: 0 issues accessing AS lounges in SEA, PDX and LAX travelling in economy as BA Gold/OWE. Additionally was able to access QF First in LAX also, slight hiccup in that the QF system was unable to pick up the FF status from AS’ Apple wallet boarding pass. Not an issue though as they simply asked for my BA number and immediately validated it.
Glad it all worked out for you. Had I seen this thread earlier then I would have commented to say you would have no issues. I am BA Gold and have had no issues accessing the AS lounges using my BAEC status when flying Economy on AS. Most recently it was a trip from ANC to ADK using Avios. Glad you also visited the Qantas First lounge at LAX. That is probably my favourite lounge, perhaps with the exception of the Cathay lounges in HKG. Lounge access when flying on domestic US itineraries is one of the key benefits of being a BAEC member over AA / AS.
