If simply get up and go to the galley and chat to them, politely, as if they are doing a drinks run or a top-up. They prefer this

Is there perhaps something of a paradox here as regards your personal rationale surrounding the two potential options for getting a drink ?
In terms of the using the call bell, you feel (and many might agree) that
if the entire plane acted like that, it would be chaos
What if the entire plane choose the (apparently preferable) recommendation to
go to the galley
. ? Would this approach - in contrast to the call bell - prove to be a nice smooth process
