prepaid sim for US and Europe?

I will be in the US for 2+ weeks with one day in London and Paris. was planning on getting a Tmobile sim for my Android (Xiaomi) phone while in the US, but I don't think that will work in beyond the States.
i would prefer not being mobie-less, is there a good way to handle this?
